Intertrade Group UK exhibited a selection from its UK portfolio at Scoop International held at the prestigious Saatchi Gallery near Sloane Square, London. This was a wonderful fusion of fashion, accessories, art and of course fragrance.

The Elements Showcase presented curated offerings in the field of fragrance design. The Elements Showcase is an innovator in its field–from its conceptualized space by Reddymade Design to its cutting-edge fragrance installations. Elements is pleased to have presented elite fragrance to industry insiders and to have connected designers with leading buyers and key media.

 David Pirrotta Brand Management showcased 21 Drops, a new line of therapeutic essential oils in candy-colored, travel-friendly packaging. Intertrade Group launched a new product for each of their brands in The Elements Showcase: Carthusia, Nez à Nez, The Hype Noses, Profumi del Forte, Esteban, and SoOud. Stephane Humbert Lucas, fragrance designer and creator of SoOud, was at Elements for a champagne launch event on Monday.

 The Elements Showcase is the definitive experience for emerging and established visionaries in the art of fragrance design. The third Showcase will premiere January 2012 in New York City.

FRAGRANZE 2011

A great success. That is the outcome of “Dining with Art Perfumery”, where the minds behind Andrea Maack Parfumes, Blood Concept and Six Scents presented to the press accredited at Pitti Fragranze 2011 the creative paths behind their works and joined the journalists for a light lunch that added conviviality to the fragrant conversation.

After the applauded introduction of Celso Fadelli, Ceo of Intertrade Europe and well known art perfume curator, Andrea Maack opened the event telling, through a video and her voice the complexity of the artistic path that brought her to develop her first fragrance based art installation called Smart, as a contraction of “smell art”. Smart was the start and now the Andrea Maack Parfums has six fragrances, six artworks literally translated into scents, each one bringing a distinctive message and unveiling unexpected sensations.
Then Giovanni Castelli and Antonio Zuddas introduced their Blood Concept: the flow of life and the history of humanity through the powerful metaphor of blood. From the primeval, animal instinct of 0, the first human blood group, the mark of our ancient hunting pulse; to A, telling the story of mankind trying to tame Nature to grow its own green and nourish its offspring to branch out; to B, the nomadic essence, the restless knowledge endeavor that pushed mankind to travel and discover; to AB, the artificial, the human creation, that synthesizes the building of arts and facts. 
A true art story was also told by Kaya Sorhaindo about Six Scents project. Six artists and designers are paired with six master perfumers to explore and uncover through their different languages a shared theme, the nature of childhood and the influence of adolescence on identity. Intimate memories evoked through scents to interpret the progression from innocence to experience. Exploring the stories from one to six, innocence begins to fade and rebellion, reality and mischief kick in. Each story is expressed through the visual and the olfactory progressions created together in a collaborative workflow and realized in numbered limited edition.

Art perfumes attracted a relentless flow of visitors from all over the world to Intertrade Group’s booth at TFWA 2011 in Cannes.
An increasing number of visitors (+9% vs last year) arrived from all over the world to Cannes to attend the duty free and travel retail premium event.
 Over 5.000 delegates reached the Palais des Festivals et des Congres to discover the world class news on luxury goods. This year theme “A brand new world” was introduced in the opening conference by Kofi Annan, former Secretary General of the UN, Stephane Garelli, Professor at the International Institute for Management Development and Erik Juul-Mortensen, TFWA President, among others. 
Art perfumery attracted the attention of an unremitting flow of visitors who, from Nepal to Latvia, from Dubai to New Zeland, from Brazil to Denmark, reached Intertrade Group’s booth, where  Calso Fadelli, CEO and perfume curator, welcomed them and guided them, supported by his team, through the 12 collections presented. 
Along with the acclaimed scents of Boadicea The Victorious, Czech & Speake, Carthusia, Nasomatto, Nez à Nez, Profumi del Forte, soOud, the Hype Noses the new creations from Agonist, Andrea Maack Parfums, Blood Concept and Six Scents offered a unique vision of what “a brand new world” in luxury could be: research, authenticity, best available raw materials, environmental and social awareness, creativity, craftsmanship. All that makes art, not fads.
